Dr. Joseph F. Kasper

For the past decade or more I’ve been an avid following of Smoke. His style of driving, personality and especially his courage as a business owner - like myself -has strengthened my dedication as a fan. I don’t follow a lot of different sports – primarily NASCAR and a bit of the IndyCar Series. Unfortunately being in Utah there are few opportunities to actually attend a racing event without 6 or more hours of travel. I did certainly enjoy attending the June 2016 race at Sonoma that Tony won!! As Tony said jokingly when we met, “There are people that live in Utah?” It’s sure enjoyable to follow Tony – especially through his Twitter posts – but also through [...]

Cindy Swisher

Cindy has been a Tony Stewart fan for years – back to his IRL days.  She shares, "I met his mom several years ago and that sealed the deal.  I have proudly worn and collected Tony Stewart memorabilia ever since.  My brother-in-law has even bid (and won) TS items during charity auctions so I am a very proud owner of a framed autographed and authenticated Tony Stewart leather jacket. I am truly blessed!"  Asked about her favorite type of racing, Cindy responded, "WOW – that’s a loaded question! In my early years when living in Indiana, the Indy 500 was THE race and I looked forward to the month of May UNTIL the first Brickyard 400 in 1994. I have been [...]

Jason Heimbaugh

Jason, like Tony, enjoys racing in its many forms, animals and children. When asked why he donates to TSF, Jason’s quick response was “my life gives me no other option”. Introduced to racing at a dirt track in Pennsylvania cheering on great drivers like Keith Kauffman, Jason caught the “racing bug” at an early age. Today he sums up his passion as: “NASCAR is my favorite series, the Best Day of the Year is the Daytona 500, my favorite race is the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, the most fun is being in the stands at The Night Race at Bristol every year (saw Tony win!), I get out to the Knoxville Nationals every year and I make it to [...]

Judy Seigworth

How long have you been a fan of Tony Stewart? Since 2004. Do you follow all types of racing or are you drawn more to NASCAR or dirt track, etc? I love anything that involves cars. All my life has been around cars either restoring antique cars or racing. If it had wheels we would work on it, run it, show it, race it and most importantly have fun. How did you learn about Tony's charitable foundation? I heard about Tony’s foundation from an ad about the Toy Drive and once I got to the website read all about the work the foundation does. Why did you decide to make charitable donations to his foundation? Giving started with my family. [...]

I found & clicked on their website link to TSF on the Tony Stewart.com website. Why did you decide to make charitable donations to his foundation? I have an appreciation for the mission to help ill children and animals. Why is it important to you to make the gift(s) through the monthly giving program known as Lap Leaders? I want to contribute monthly to assure support [...]

Christal Hartsuck

How long have you been a fan of Tony Stewart? Since he began his racing career in the NASCAR Cup series 16 years ago. Do you follow all types of racing or are you drawn more to NASCAR or dirt track, etc.? NASCAR – My dad introduced me to NASCAR when I was 10, and I am still drawn to the Cup series 30 years later. How did you learn about Tony’s charitable foundation? I first learned about the foundation during an interview Tony participated in and then performed an online search to obtain more information about it. Why did you decide to make charitable donations to his foundation? I have always been focused on my career, like Tony [...]

Jo West

I have been a fan of Tony for 8 years. I have always appreciated his complete honesty; he tells you what he thinks. He will admit when he is wrong and not blame other drivers unless it IS their fault. He can drive anything with wheels and you can see the joy he gets from racing. He is quick to share that joy with those around him, too. NASCAR is my first love, but I also follow NHRA Drag Racing. I have been fortunate to meet John Force, my favorite drag racer. I grew up around cars, working on cars, (yes, I was an auto mechanic for 11 years!), and being part of a pit crew on a drag [...]

Leslie Bonnette

Recently retired from General Motors and like many fellow employees, I am a NASCAR fan. I remember when Tony came on the scene, and instantly liked him and his style. A Kentucky log cabin is now home shared with 12 Jack Russell Terriers whom I have rescued, shown, and hunted. Tony reminds me so much of my terriers as he’s full of vinegar, and then the next moment wanting hugs and sweetness. I was graced serving as the retirement home for two daughters of Secretariat until their recent deaths. Kentucky is perfect for me with the heart of the racing industry here. In addition to loving my four-legged children, I greatly enjoy my 4 grandchildren -- the oldest who [...]

Amy Marbach

Amy, like her favorite driver Tony Stewart, simply loves racing in all of its forms. As a California girl she lived close to Laguna Seca watching Indy Cars and went through a NHRA phase before finally settling on NASCAR in Tony's 1999 rookie year. Her dad encouraged her love of racing by getting paddock passes so they could get down in the middle of the action watching the crews work on the cars. Amy goes to three NASCAR races every year -- usually Las Vegas, Sonoma and Phoenix -- with something favorite about each track. However, this year she's thinking about trading the fall Phoenix race for Homestead-Miami to wrap what she hopes will be an incredible season for Smoke. [...]
