Therapy Animals of Utah

The mission of Therapy Animals of Utah (TAU) (UTAH) is to share the comfort, love, hope and healing of the human-animal bond through training, service, education, and research. TAU serves its mission by providing animal-assisted therapy and animal-assisted activity services free of charge to a variety of clients throughout Utah in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, residential treatment facilities, shelters, schools, libraries, and more. Wheelchairs 4 Kids

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities by providing wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications as well as other assistive equipment to children with physical disabilities at no charge to the families. Many children in the United States faced with living with physical disabilities are in wheelchairs that are too small, in disrepair, or do not fit the needs of the child. Children outgrow their wheelchairs before government or insurance programs will allow for a replacement - on average 5 years! Not only is it unsafe for a child to be in a chair that is inadequate for their needs, but it can impact their health in numerous ways [...]

Zuma’s Rescue Ranch

Zuma’s Rescue Ranch is a dedicated group of employees, volunteers and community members working together to make the world a bit kinder place for at risk youth and homeless animals. Our holistic approach to horse care from proper nutrition and adequate exercise to humane treatment and respect carries over [...]

Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest

They not only provide wonderful care for their chimpanzee residents, but also strive to provide educational and advocacy opportunities to help all great apes in need. Those who follow their blog and social media sites become enamored with the chimpanzees and their personalities, quickly learning that Foxie loves troll dolls and Jamie, the boss of the group, is obsessed with cowboy boots. Each day is a new adventure at the sanctuary! CSNW is currently [...]
