Oregon Greyhound Adoption (OGA) (OREGON) is a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for ex-racing greyhounds, providing pre- and post-adoption support as well as educating the public about the joys of adoption. Oregon Greyhound Adoption volunteers enthusiastically pour countless hours into the care and nurturing of these wonderful animals servicing Oregon and Southern Washington. Oregon Greyhound Adoption (OGA) participates in a very unique “LIFESAVERS” blood donor program thru VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialist Critical Care Blood Bank Program. Partners For Progress

Partners For Progress (PFP) (ILLINOIS) is a place where dreams come to realization through life altering programs that assist those with special needs in overcoming their challenges. There are 6 specific programming levels available at PFP, offering challenging advancement and appropriate placement for overcoming those challenges to obtain goal achievement. These programs are implemented using horse therapists that are chosen for soundness at all levels of movement, as well as for specific gait, type, size, ability, strength, etc., to allow for the highest quality therapeutic input for the participants we serve. PAWS Chicago is the largest No Kill humane organization in the Midwest and a national model in high-quality animal sheltering. Through long-term, sustainable programs and practices, PAWS works to permanently reduce the overpopulation of homeless pets in Chicago while leading a grassroots effort to engage and activate the community in animal welfare. Quantum House

Quantum House relieves the stress and financial hardship for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition since 2001. The House is the only agency between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida serving families in this way. The House expanded from 10 family suites to 30 suites to serve even more families who needed help during a most difficult time. Respite Care, Inc.

Respite Care Inc (COLORADO) was born 33 years ago when a group of families realized their dream of creating a place where children with developmental disabilities could play, learn and grow among friends, while also having their special needs met. It is the only organization in Larimer County (and 1 of only 2 in Colorado) that provides 24 care in a home-style setting for children with cerebral palsy, brain injury, hydrocephalus, Down syndrome, autism and other physical, cognitive and sensory disabilities requiring specialized care. We serve 140 families annually, providing care 24/7 for children from infancy to age 21. Saddle Up!

Since incorporating in 1991, Saddle Up! (TENNESSEE) has served almost 1,100 children, provided more than 42,000 hours of services, and cared for more than 110 noble horses who served our program.  In addition to our recreational therapeutic horseback riding program for Middle Tennessee children with disabilities, we offer physical and occupational therapy (called hippotherapy), a school-based equine assisted learning program, the Saddle Up! Equestrian Club, and workshops/seminars. Saddle Up! has a volunteer corps of more than 500 people who in 2013 alone provided over 17,115 hours of service assisting 213 in their lessons as well as barn and office duties. Shangri-La Therapeutic Riding – STAR

Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR) (TENNESSEE) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, founded in 1987. STAR’s mission is to foster personal achievement by providing therapeutic experiences using horse related activities for persons with disabilities or other special challenges. STAR is the oldest therapeutic riding program in Tennessee and the first to achieve premier accreditation from the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, (PATH Intl.). We serve individuals from 11 counties in East Tennessee averaging 150 participants per week ages 4 to 60+. We have 12 PATH Intl. certified instructors, over 400 volunteers and 30 horses/ponies. Shining Stars Foundation

The Shining Stars Foundation (COLORADO) meets needs not addressed by medical treatments, mainly the devastating emotional, social, and psychological toll that cancer takes on the entire family.  We bring hope by providing year-round services which are unique recreational and social activities, including: adaptive skiing/snowboarding, outdoor education, adventure sports, music, cultural and community events, animal- based therapy, and more. Services are delivered through overnight, week-long programs and single day events. A majority of programs accommodate the entire family, with a few programs tailored specifically to the child. Sunshine Foundation Dream Village
