Prison Greyhounds

Many former racing greyhounds have their lives on hold in cages because of a lack of foster homes. Some nonviolent inmates in Indiana are ready to make amends. Together, we can impact both. Prison Greyhounds provides fostering, training, and socialization for retired greyhounds prior to their adoption into permanent loving homes. Nonviolent inmate-handlers find compassion, unconditional love and rehabilitation through their foster responsibility with these dogs. We provide regular coaching as the handlers gain teamwork experience, and an opportunity to explore a better way of living before being released into our community. Tatum’s Bags of Fun

Tatum’s Bags of Fun (INDIANA) has a simple mission, to make a positive impact on the lives of Hoosier pediatric cancer patients. Tatum does this by providing a backpack filled with $350 worth of age-appropriate games, toys and activities to every child diagnosed with a form of cancer in Indiana. Each year she delivers in excess of three hundred Bags of Fun to these brave children. Since August 1, 2008 she has delivered smiles & laughter to more than 1800 children. The mission of Therapy Animals of Utah (TAU) (UTAH) is to share the comfort, love, hope and healing of the human-animal bond through training, service, education, and research. TAU serves its mission by providing animal-assisted therapy and animal-assisted activity services free of charge to a variety of clients throughout Utah in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, residential treatment facilities, shelters, schools, libraries, and more. Wheelchairs 4 Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities by providing wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications as well as other assistive equipment to children with physical disabilities at no charge to the families. Many children in the United States faced with living with physical disabilities are in wheelchairs that are too small, in disrepair, or do not fit the needs of the child. Zuma’s Rescue Ranch is a dedicated group of employees, volunteers and community members working together to make the world a bit kinder place for at risk youth and homeless animals. The pairing of these once abused and or neglected children and animals is a harmonious blend of nurturing and healing for both child and animal.
