Clint Bowyer

New Team, New Manufacturer, Same Desire To Win Daytona 500 KANNAPOLIS, North Carolina (Feb.15, 2017) – Let us re-introduce you to Clint Bowyer. You might remember him. He finished second in the 2012 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship and third in the 2007 title chase. He has eight NASCAR Cup Series victories and won the 2008 NASCAR Xfinity Series title after leaving his hometown of Emporia, Kansas for racing glory in 2004. He’s NASCAR’s everyman, whose collar is as blue as his Kansas City Royals hat and his smile as wide as a wheat field. He’s been quiet the last two seasons, but that only proves how much of a team sport NASCAR is these days. Midway through [...]

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Tuesday that the lymphoma drug, Tanovea-CA1, is approved for use in canine patients and will be available to veterinarians nationwide this spring. Tony is Comfortable in Retirement

TULSA, Okla. -- Tony Stewart opted for a vehicle that he could rev up to a whopping 2 mph during the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals race week. Rarely does Stewart have to go slow to earn a paycheck. But there he was working into the wee hours of the morning, plodding along tilling the surface to prepare the track throughout the week. He didn't race because he got the call from the race organizer Emmett Hahn that Hahn needed Stewart's track-prep acumen, a job Stewart has performed the past four years at the Tulsa River Spirit Expo Center. As he toiled away at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, well after all the races had ended Friday night, [...]

Dr. Joseph F. Kasper

For the past decade or more I’ve been an avid following of Smoke. His style of driving, personality and especially his courage as a business owner - like myself -has strengthened my dedication as a fan. I don’t follow a lot of different sports – primarily NASCAR and a bit of the IndyCar Series. Unfortunately being in Utah there are few opportunities to actually attend a racing event without 6 or more hours of travel. I did certainly enjoy attending the June 2016 race at Sonoma that Tony won!! As Tony said jokingly when we met, “There are people that live in Utah?” It’s sure enjoyable to follow Tony – especially through his Twitter posts – but also through [...]

The 94 to 5 Senate vote Wednesday followed a 392 to 26 House vote last week. The bill, known as the 21st Century Cures Act, now heads to the desk of President Obama, who praised the bill Wednesday and said he would sign it. The bill provides for $4.8 billion in new funding for the National Institutes of Health; of that, $1.8 billion is reserved for the “cancer moonshot” launched by Vice President Biden to accelerate research in that field. Another $1.6 billion is earmarked for brain diseases including Alzheimer’s. Also included are [...]
