The Office Depot partnered with Tony’s foundation during July 2009 for Smoke’s Blood Drive. Mobile blood centers were set up at 12 Office Depot stores located throughout the state of Indiana making it very convenient for Tony’s fans to donate this gift of life.
The Office Depot has once again partnered with TSF through a national program launched November 2009. As one of the TSF Signature Programs, both individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations can save money when purchasing office supplies or selected technology products. And, in return, the Office Depot will donate 3% of all purchases back to TSF! Click the logo to learn more about this Working Partnership!
The Office Depot Foundation is celebrated a monumental achievement this past summer by donating their 2 millionth backpack through their National Backpack Program - launched in 2001. And, Tony’s foundation was included in the distribution of these colorful and well-received backpacks. The Office Depot Foundation donated 6,500 backpacks to TSF which, in turn, provided them to kids participating in a wide variety of the camp programs receiving grants from TSF. These included Camp Riley, Camp John Warvel, Happy Hollow Children’s Camp, Victory Junction Gang Camp, Camp Spifida, ROCcK Children’s Choir, Riley Hospital for Children and Grades 3, 4 & 5 of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in Tony’s hometown of Columbus, Indiana.
The kids loved their colorful backpacks and immediately put them to great use to store their ‘camp treasures’. And, their parents provided a huge “thanks” as it made one less purchase for the back-to-school list!
By donating these backpacks, the Office Depot Foundation strongly believes they are helping children to build self-confidence, boost self-esteem and achieve greater success in the classroom – all as a result of being well-prepared for school. During 2009, Old Spice celebrated 10 years of partnership with Tony Stewart. As a NASCAR driver, Tony relies on Old Spice products to stay cool and smell great before & after a race. The foundation loves to hear “Smells Like Victory” as it means Tony has won a points race and has donated for auction his champagne- and sweat-soaked towel used in Victory Lane. Since 2006 when Old Spice began auctioning off Tony’s victory lane towels, more than $20,420 has been raised for the foundation.
Coca-Cola and the Coca-Cola Racing Family have provided funds through their “Chug For Charity” program. Since 2002, more than $1.0 million has been donated to a several driver foundations including to the Tony Stewart Foundation. TSF is grateful to receive generous financial support from Coca-Cola during the past 7 years!
Coca-Cola also partnered with TSF this summer to raise funds for the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. With added partner, Marsh Supermarkets, Coke created eye-catching displays of 18-pack Coke products in 108 Marsh groceries from late June to end of July. Fans were eligible to enter a contest to win tickets to the Brickyard 400 and autographed items from Tony.
Coca-Cola currently supports our Smoke’s Texas Hold’em Tournament as a Media Partner. This fundraising event will be held November 28, 2009 at the Hollywood Casino, Lawrenceburg, IN with proceeds supporting adoption programs for retired thoroughbreds and retired greyhounds.
Tony’s Armor All commercials are legend. Go ahead. Stare. During 2009 the foundation raffled off a 2010 “Victory Red” Camaro to raise funds for grant distribution. If you have a shiny red Camaro, you need the perfect car care products… right? Not only did Armor All provide a year’s worth of product to the Camaro winner but they donated 2-bottle kits to be used as incentives (or Early Bird prizes) to encourage fans to buy a raffle ticket! Thanks Armor All!
[ + ] www.armorall.comThis beautiful 4-diamond rated hotel located in downtown Indianapolis stepped up as an excellent partner in 2009. The Omni Severin Indianapolis provided deluxe accommodations for the Grand Prize Winner of our Early Bird #1 drawing (Camaro Raffle) as part of a 2009 Brickyard 400 package.
The Omni Severin created a “Tony’s Fans” package deal for those guests staying at the hotel during the Brickyard. Not only did guests receive a special package rate but the hotel gave back a percentage of each night’s stay to TSF! It was a win-win-win for TSF, Tony’s fans and the Omni Severin!
What’s new for summer 2010? Not only will the Omni Severin offer the “Tony’s Fans Package” again but it is the Official Hotel of Stewart-Haas Racing for the week & weekend of the 2010 Brickyard. Stay tuned…

Just as its sister property in Indianapolis, the Charlotte Omni is a beautiful 4-diamond rated hotel located in the heart of Charlotte’s financial district. When TSF approached the Charlotte Omni about donating overnight lodging to our Camaro winner, their answer was an immediate ‘yes’. And, when TSF learned we needed 2 nights due to the travel distance from Wisconsin & timing of the presentation of the car/keys by Tony, the Charlotte Omni again said ‘yes’. Camaro winner, Robert Schwiesow, reported their stay at the Charlotte Omni was “superior” and “outstanding”.
